Nordic is each skier races a time-trial, then the top thirty-two boy and girl finishers move to four races with eight other racers. The top two finishers in these races go to the finals.

THS Nordic team
Jon Halvorsen is the Head Coach of the Nordic ski team. He has been the Coach at Truckee High School for 6 years. He teaches computers and is the Technology Coordinator for the school as well. He is a great coach and leads his team to victory.
